ENJOY THE MUSIC AND DANCING – First and foremost, this is a MUSIC Event. We
want you to enjoy the experience. The below measures can help you avoid any
unnecessary issues.
 STAY HYDRATED – Sip or take small gulps of water (to help cool your body)
AND non-caffeinated beverages like sports drinks and coconut water (to
replenish electrolytes). Alcohol and caffeine dehydrate the body.
 STAY HEALTHY – Make sure you have food! Snacks and/or a proper meal can
provide you with more energy.
 STAY FUNCTIONAL – Don’t forget protection from the sun (e.g., sunscreen,
hats) during the day and layers of clothing at night.
 PLEASE CONSIDER WEARING EARPLUGS – Loud music can cause
permanent hearing loss and tinnitus. Protect yourself!
 MIXING ALCOHOL WITH OTHER SUBSTANCES CAN BE DANGEROUS. The
only way to avoid the risks of alcohol and drugs altogether is to stay away from
them. Combining alcohol with medication or other substances increases risks
and may lead to potentially dangerous interactions.
 DON’T DRIVE UNDER THE INFLUENCE – The event has multiple
transportation options to and from the festival. If you’re unable to drive your own
vehicle home, take an Uber instead or plan to stay at one of the local hotels.
 ONLY USE LICENSED TAXIS OR RIDE SHARES – Protect yourself by only
using licensed taxis.
 NEVER CONSUME ANYTHING YOU GET FROM STRANGERS – You can
never be 100% sure of what you are getting.
 BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS – Keep an eye on your drinks and
food; keep them covered.
 SEEK MEDICAL HELP IMMEDIATELY – If you or your friends feel sick or
experience one or more of the following: headaches, nausea, confusion, blurred

vision, inability to talk, racing heart, vomiting, fainting, muscle tremors, or
convulsions.
 IF YOU SEE SOMETHING THAT DOESN’T LOOK RIGHT, SAY SOMETHING –
Don’t be afraid of security or medical teams; you will never get in trouble for
seeking medical attention.
 SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING: Store the info below ahead of time.
Guests are encouraged to report unsafe or inappropriate behavior.
KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR FRIENDS – Stay together and have a buddy system.
EDUCATE YOURSELF AND YOUR FRIENDS – The best decisions are well-informed
ones.
BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY – You are ultimately the only person
responsible for your own actions.
HAVE FUN – of course, the most important tip!
